Things we think you need to know when families split up.

| 2 | We know you feel bad. If it’s safe for you to talk to them, tell your parents how you feel. |
| 3 | If it is not safe for you to talk to your parents about how you feel or what is going on at home, find a safe person to speak to. |
| 4 | It’s not your job to make your parents feel better about the family break up. |
| 5 | It’s OK to love both your parents. |
| 6 | It’s not your job to be the parent. |
| 7 | You don’t have to be strong all the time. |
| 8 | You’re a good person. It’s OK to be angry some times, try to breathe when it gets too much. |
| 9 | You deserve to be loved. |
